History

Baptista e Soares was founded in 1981 by Manoel Baptista and his wife, Maria de Lourdes Torquato Soares, in Taíde, Póvoa de Lanhoso. Today we are under the direction of one of the founders' sons, José Baptista and his wife, Manuela Baptista. Over these thirty years of history and evolution, we have distinguished ourselves by the increasing quality of manufacturing and innovation of our garments, and today we are a reference in the sector. From the beginning of our activity, we have always had a strong concern in keeping up to date by investing in innovation, competitiveness and new technologies to respond to the exacting standards of today's market.
